Blind Eye Studio
Terms and Conditions of Membership
We very much believe in never creating a rule unless it is necessary. This isn't a control thing, we wish that we lived in a society that made these rules unnecessary... It would certainly be a better world to live in. However, experience has forced us to force you to comply with some basic points in order to enter the studio, book services, and become part of our incredibly diverse and creative community both physically and online.

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE RULES, they aren't complicated. YOU NEED TO KNOW THEM.
1.
Blind Eye Studio is a sanctuary. A safe space. This means respect for physical and emotional boundaries is the first order of business. Zero non-consensual physical contact will be tolerated (consent must be expressed enthusiastically, specifically, and verbally, regardless of context). If you accidentally bump into someone, apologize and move on regardless of "fault". Zero aggression (verbal, emotional, physical) will be tolerated. Zero intolerance will be tolerated, this means no bigotry of any kind. It also means no gatekeeping, or shaming.

To clarify: No intentional singular act of human indecency or inconsideration for the physical, psychological, or emotional wellbeing of any sentient being inside the studio, adjacent to the studio, in common areas to and from the studio, or ANYWHERE in the proximity of the studio in it's physical or online form will be tolerated.

THIS IS A ONE STRIKE RULE. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate and permanent removal from the physical premises and the online community surrounding it.
2.
Blind Eye Studio is not a public space, it as not a bar or concert venue. It is a private working photography studio. If you are in the studio you are there as a guest, not a "customer". Much the same as if you were to visit a friend. The space itself should at all times be treated with kindness and respect. That means (this should be obvious), no (intentional) breaking of or stealing sh*t, ever. If you find it and it doesn't belong to you, return it to the owner or the staff.

Additionally: We are not your servants, the folks there to help you are (most often) volunteers working because they love and believe in what we do, or as barter for services provided by the studio or the studio community. If you make a mess we will probably try to help you, but it is YOUR MESS. Make every effort to assist and pick up after yourselves. Make every effort not to piss on or around the toilet. If it happens accidentally, wipe it up. Throw trash in the trash receptacle. There is only one toilet, so respect others by making your visits clean and brief. Basic stuff we believe.
3.
You are responsible for yourself, but also any non-member you bring into the space. All parties participating should read and understand these rules, it is a non-negotiable. This means if you are bringing someone who you aren't sure about, think twice about it. It is a fragile and kind ecosystem we have. We intend to keep it that way. If someone who you brought into the space behaves poorly it effects everyone. You may be permanently banned as well depending on circumstance so please think about it.
4.
As mentioned in rule #2 Blind Eye Studio is not a public space, it is not a bar or concert venue. It is a private members space. Blind Eye Studio operated by Noah Zechariah Lucas and Tiny Sanctum Studio SRO will not be held liable for any damage brought through usage of this space. We are all adults, and as a member you agree to be responsible for yourself and your actions.
